The ReefTank Exclusive system aquarium offers a good, solid basis for the successful and easy operation of a beautiful seawater biotope. This attractive system not only differs from many conventional aquariums due to its rimless design, but also impresses with its very high-quality, powder-coated base frame, which sets standards in terms of stability, functionality and longevity. The steel frame is clad into an elegant and timeless piece of furniture using waterproof plastic panels (Vekaplan S integral foam panel) into which magnets have been embedded for fastening. For better ventilation of the inside of the cabinet, the rear aquarium pane, on which the drain is located, remains without a panel. A shaft panel that covers the backpack overflow can be ordered for an additional charge (item no.: RT-1062 in white; RT- 1063 in black).
The weak points of other system aquariums, such as mismatched technology, rusting hinges, swollen wood and loud running noises, were taken into account when planning this system aquarium in order to rule out these errors right from the start and to be able to provide the customer with a system , which simply works.
The aquarium is made of float glass. All glass components are made from float glass -Made in Germany-. This guarantees stress-free glass panes of the highest quality, which are very resistant to scratching. The view of the aquarium remains unobstructed for years to come. In order to conceal the backpack overflow, the long side on which the backpack overflow is located is painted black.
The ReefTank base frame consists of a 40 mm steel frame, which has been primed and powder-coated twice. All base frames of the ReefTank system aquariums have a load distribution plate made of 19 mm screen print, which is attached to the underside of the steel frame. This means your floor is optimally protected from selective load damage. Another screen printing plate on the floor of the cabinet interior serves as a clean support surface for the filter system. It lies inside on the frame of the steel frame. A screen printing plate is also attached to the top of the steel frame. This means that the aquarium stands on a flat, water-repellent surface. Thanks to this design, an absolutely firm stand is guaranteed, which prevents stress damage to the glass. The material is 100% seawater resistant.
For optimal functionality, the load-distributing plate has a projection of 9 mm beyond the frame. In this way, the door panels always have a flush contact surface. This means that the annoying look of hanging doors is a thing of the past.
Every ReefTank Exclusive system aquarium has a backpack overflow on the rear aquarium glass. The backpack overflow has a depth of 10 cm and a height of 30 cm. The length depends on the length of the aquarium. An overflow comb is deliberately avoided because it becomes clogged over time and causes the water level to fluctuate. For this reason, the overflow of this system aquarium is implemented via an 8 mm wide drainage gap, 4 cm below the top edge of the tank. In this way, optimal surface suction is ensured and scum skin is effectively prevented. Fish and other organisms are also protected from getting into the shaft. Cleaning is kept to a minimum. A clear and clean look is guaranteed at all times.
The system has a drain and an emergency drain (55 mm hole for PVC fittings in 40 mm). This enables completely safe operation and protects you from inventory damage caused by water overflowing from the aquarium. The inlet is via a hole (34 mm hole for 25 mm PVC fittings) in the long side of the aquarium next to the backpack overflow. In this way, holes in the base plate that are under high pressure are avoided. This ensures additional security.
The Exclusive systems are delivered with a Dreambox (filter) that is adapted to the size of the aquarium. The water draining from the aquarium is first sent through the Dreambox's fleece bed filter. The pre-cleaned water flows into a chamber in which there is a skimmer, which is also adapted to the size of the aquarium. This chamber also houses a media filter that you can equip with different filter materials. The Dreambox also includes a built-in refill storage tank for your osmosis water. The built-in pumps (return pump and skimmer pump) are infinitely adjustable and run very quietly. Since there are several options for pumps for the media filter, this must be ordered separately. The filter is made of PVC and has a clear front. The Dreambox is also covered with transparent PVC panels and can be illuminated using small, hidden LEDs and controlled using the included remote control
The system is delivered including PVC piping. You can install these according to your own ideas. You can also have the system piped by AquaPerfekt. Please ask for your price. Special magnetic clip-on holders have been developed to ensure clear organization in the base cabinet. These can be attached to the base frame without any drilling (item no.: >RT-1030). These can also be added to the system with the required sockets (item no.: RT-1029 + RT-1031).
