The Reeftank aquarium system offers a good, solid basis for the successful and easy operation of a beautiful seawater biotope. This attractive system not only differs from many conventional aquariums due to its rimless design, but also impresses with its very high-quality, powder-coated base frame, which leaves nothing to be desired in terms of stability, functionality and longevity.
The weak points of other system aquariums such as mismatched technology, rusting hinges, swollen wood and loud running noises were taken into account when planning this system aquarium in order to rule out these errors right from the start and to provide the customer with a system that is simply works.
All aquarium systems have a 19 mm screen-printed load distribution plate, as well as another plate on the frame, as a clean and water-resistant support surface for the filter system. In this way, your floor is optimally protected from load damage.
The base cabinet has a 40 mm steel frame, which has been primed and twice powder coated. This ensures an absolutely firm stand, which completely eliminates tension damage to the glass. The material is 100% seawater resistant.
The steel frame is clad into an elegant and timeless piece of furniture using waterproof plastic panels (Vekaplan S integral foam panel), into which magnets have been embedded for fastening. In this way, no hinges can rust or wood swell.
For optimal functionality, the load-distributing plate has an overhang of 9mm over the frame. In this way, the door panels always have a flush contact surface. This means that the annoying look of hanging doors is a thing of the past.
All glass components are made from float glass Made in Germany. This guarantees stress-free glass panes of the highest quality, which are very resistant to scratching. The view of the aquarium remains unobstructed for years to come.
Each system has a backpack overflow measuring 10 cm deep and 30 cm high. The length depends on the length of the aquarium. In this way, optimal surface suction is ensured and scum skin is effectively prevented.
The system has a drain (55mm) and an emergency drain (40mm). This enables absolutely safe operation and effectively protects you from inventory damage caused by leaking water.
The inlet takes place via a hole in the rear front. (34 hole for 25 MM pipe) In this way, heavily pressurized holes in the base plate are avoided, which ensures optimal safety.
