Anion exchanger for silicate removal

antisil/AA is an anion exchanger specially selected for the removal of silicate from heavily contaminated source water. If the initial silicate contamination of the tap water is very high (> 1 mg/L), the use of antisil/AA to bind silicate after the osmosis system is usually unavoidable for the long-term care of reef aquariums. antisil/AA is an effective solution to diatom problems and is easy and efficient to use.

Recommended application: Depending on the filter size available, the contents of the package are placed in an appropriately designated mixed-bed resin filter.

A plastic-like smell may occur and is harmless to all organisms in the aquarium.
