Simply place BACTO REEF BALLS in the filter every 2-3 weeks. Thanks to our polymer matrix, which is stable in seawater, the bacteria are added to the aquarium slowly and in a controlled manner. Daily dosing and unwanted dosing peaks are avoided.
Special composition
The unique composition of the carrier material was developed specifically for use in seawater. Normal jelly acts like an additional source of carbon and therefore dissolves more quickly, making controlled release impossible. The composition of the bacteria was specifically developed for the needs of reef aquariums and ensures a stable and species-rich bacterial culture. Excess bacteria serve as food for corals and protozoa or are skimmed off.
