Iron 24, 50 ml
For the daily care of invertebrates. Promotes coloration and growth of corals. Favors the metabolism of symbiotic algae. Supports chlorophyll formation through the trace element manganese.
The trace element iron occurs in natural seawater in a concentration of 0.01 mg. It must be re-dosed regularly in the aquarium. Iron forms an essential component of the protein ferrodoxin and is therefore indispensable for photosynthesis in algae and symbiotic algae (zooxantellae). The addition of iron 24 nano supports the growth of the important symbiotic algae and intensifies the coloring of the corals. In killer clams the colors intensify, in disc anemones the tissue swells noticeably, cornucopia shows significantly more open polyps. A measured addition of iron has a growth-promoting effect on higher algae and the popular calcareous red algae. Manganese also supports chlorophyll formation. The trace element iron is also an important catalyst in biological degradation processes within the seawater aquarium. Since bacteria require large amounts of iron for their biological degradation, regular addition of iron 24 nano supports the entire biological processes in the aquarium.
Dosage: 1 drop in 50 liters of aquarium water daily. Strong oxidizing processes
(e.g. adding ozone or running a trickle filter) in the aquarium may make it necessary to carefully increase the dosage. If a brown coloring of very light or yellow small-polyp stony corals is observed, this indicates an overdose. In this case, the dosage should be stopped or significantly reduced.
