PhytoMaxx is manufactured in cooperation with a highly specialized biotechnology laboratory according to our specifications under permanent quality assurance and control. A state-of-the-art photobioreactor technology tailored to the relevant algae is used. The live algae are carefully harvested using special centrifuges, effectively cleaned and then processed in sterile sea water. Such standards are usually only used in professional aquaculture. The result is an extremely clean, living microalgae biomass that has no bacterial contamination. PhytoMaxx is free of artificial colors, preservatives or antioxidants. It is highly concentrated and contains 500 million fresh, live algae cells per ml. Due to the sterile production conditions, PhytoMaxx is almost odor-free and has a shelf life of up to 6 months when refrigerated.
