pH electrode set
The correct pH value is crucial for a beautiful aquarium with healthy fish. Because the acidity determines the pH value of the water. Therefore, the pH value should always be checked and, if necessary, adjusted to the respective needs of the aquarium inhabitants. Because an incorrect pH value means stress for the animals and can cause illness. The Dupla glass electrodes are characterized by a particularly high and reliable quality. The tested quality enables the most precise measurements, which laboratories also appreciate. This also guarantees long and trouble-free operation. Thanks to the BNC connection used, the glass electrode is compatible with all Dupla pH controllers and also with almost all other commercially available pH control devices. The electrode is delivered including all liquids required for calibration. Each of the high-quality glass electrodes is tested in a separate test procedure and receives an individual test certificate.

Note: The reference electrolyte (Dupla KCL solution) in the Dupla pH glass electrode is replaceable, this makes the electrode particularly durable and ensures the most accurate measurements. In principle, however, pH electrodes are subject to age-related wear. This wear is a result of replacement processes on the electrode membrane. Therefore, electrodes should be replaced after approx. 2 years. The KCL solution contained in the protective cap serves to protect the electrode during transport. This solution can leak out of the protective cap and form white crystals. The crystals can be easily removed with Dupla Dest and have no influence on the quality or measurement accuracy of the electrode.
