The inhabitants of reef aquariums require calcium for the growth of their skeletons and shells and consume both calcium and carbonate hardness from the water in large quantities. Both substances must therefore be re-dosed.
ROWA ® lime is very pure calcium hydroxide that, when dissolved in water, produces lime water, a solution that further reacts within the aquarium and leads to the formation of calcium, carbonate and bicarbonate ions. Depending on your needs, the fresh solution can completely or partially replace the water that evaporates daily in your aquarium and increase the pH value of your water
