The Dupla CO 2 diffuser set consists of a CO 2 diffuser with suction holder, a CO 2 bubble counter with suction holder, a safety valve and 1.5 meter CO 2 hose for connection to your CO 2 fitting.
A sufficient supply of CO 2 to the aquatic plants in the aquarium is absolutely necessary, as CO 2 supplies the most important nutrient for the plants, namely carbon. The Dupla CO 2 diffuser releases CO 2 in sufficient quantities for aquariums up to 160 liters. The CO 2 escapes via the CO 2 diffusion plate in tiny CO 2 gas bubbles. The fine CO 2 bubbles diffuse in the aquarium and thus guarantee optimal CO 2 absorption by the plants. Please note that in order to function, the diffusion plate requires a certain initial pressure from the collecting CO 2 bubbles and initially releases a larger amount of CO 2 into the aquarium. Wait for this effect without increasing the amount of bubbles, otherwise you will have to reduce the amount of bubbles again. Check the CO 2 content in the aquarium with a CO 2 long-term test. Adjust the CO 2 requirement to the aquarium by increasing or decreasing the number of CO 2 bubbles. Diffuser plate with sealing ring (item no. 80033) available as a spare part.
