Strontium 24, 50 ml
For the daily care of invertebrates. For skeletal structure and growth of corals. With traces of molybdenum.
Strontium is a structural and trace element and occurs in seawater in a concentration of 8 mg/l. Along with calcium and magnesium, strontium is one of the most important trace elements and plays an important role in the care of hard corals, calcareous algae and mussels. Strontium is also an essential trace element for the skeletal structure of stony corals, as it is stored in the crystal lattice of aragonite. With the regular addition of Strontium 24 nano, the growth of hard corals and also the popular calcareous red algae is promoted. In particular, the growth of all Acopora or Pocillopora species improves significantly. Strontium is not stable in aquarium water and is often no longer detectable after 12 - 15 hours. In order to prevent corals or calcareous algae from stagnating in growth due to a strontium deficiency, it is important to regularly add strontium 24 nano to the aquarium. The trace element molybdenum has an essential function in the biology of many marine invertebrates and nitrifying filter bacteria. Since molybdenum is also removed from the aquarium water by reef-building organisms, it must be constantly replenished.
Dosage: With normal stock, 1 drop per 50 liters of aquarium water daily. If there are many fast-growing hard corals (e.g. Acopora species) in the aquarium, the dosage can be carefully increased. If an increased growth of undesirable algae species or a decline in the Xenia population is noticed, the dosage should be reduced.
