The triple effect of Tropic Marin® Triple Buffer brings the pH value into the optimal range between pH 8.1 and 8.4, increases and stabilizes the carbonate hardness and at the same time supplies the saltwater aquarium with essential trace elements.


- Helps reliably and quickly if the pH value is outside the recommended range of 8.1 - 8.4, e.g. in the case of hyperacidity caused by excretions and decomposition processes.
- Counteracts when precipitation has reduced the alkalinity and thus the buffering capacity of the water.

Check the carbonate hardness and pH of the aquarium water.

Recommended water values:
Carbonate hardness: 6 - 9 °dH
pH value: 8.1 - 8.4

If the water values ​​are below the recommended values, dose 1 level measuring spoon of Tropic Marin® Triple Buffer per 75 l of aquarium water weekly (or daily if necessary) until the desired pH or alkalinity values ​​are reached. Sprinkle the contents of the measuring spoon well over the surface of the water and stir the water at the same time. 1 level measuring spoon of Tropic Marin® Triple Buffer per 75 l of aquarium water gives the water a carbonate hardness of 1.4 °dH. A carbonate hardness of 9 °dH should not be exceeded.

To avoid precipitation, TropicMarin® Triple Buffer should not be added to the tank at the same time as calcium additives.
