The VIVA lighting concept
With a power consumption of up to 150 watts and the carefully selected LEDs, uncompromising light output and color brilliance are achieved. In total, each VIVA light has 3 LED clusters evenly distributed along the length of the light with a total of 48 carefully selected CREE brand LEDs.
Solar squiggle effect and natural light reflections
The combination of the wide beam angle of 100° and the brightness of the high-quality LED equipment results in the popular solar squiggle effect even at higher water depths, i.e. the refraction of the light on the water surface with the natural-looking light reflections on the bottom, the so-called caustic patterns.
By avoiding strong focusing lenses, perfect illumination is achieved for areas between 90-100 cm long and 45-60 cm wide.
The specially designed, high-gloss individual reflectors of each LED color guarantee the highest luminous efficacy and optimal color mixing of the LED. The entire light from the VIVA is directed into the aquarium without loss. The additional mirrored underside of the reflector surface also ensures optimal glare control and directs light reflections on the water surface back into the aquarium - the light is therefore 100% available to your aquarium.
