SEAWATER SPECIAL ZEOLITE
The Fauna Marin Zeo Light is a special zeolite mixture that is ideal for reducing nutrients in seawater aquariums.
- These special zeolites offer nitrogen-reducing bacteria an ideal habitat.
- The selected chemical and physical properties of our zeolites ensure rapid and effective nutrient reduction.
- Zeo Light is suitable for operation with automatic zeolite filters.
Dosage :
- To prepare the zeolite, wash it well with tap or osmosis water and store it in tap water for 24 hours.
- 1000 ml Zeo Light per 1000 liters of net water volume
- No water changes during the treatment period
- No use of activated carbon, ozone or UVC
- If possible, vacuum all existing deposits
- After the effective time has expired - i.e. after 11 days at the earliest - you can return to normal care
Dosage instructions :
- Calculate your water volume precisely.
- Insert the zeolite in a zeolite filter or in our automatic zeolite filter Zeomatic 2
- The Zeomatic 2 zeolite filter is particularly maintenance-free and effective thanks to its cleaning function
- Without an automatic filter, the cleaning interval is 2 days.
- 75% of the zeolite rock is replaced every 4 weeks, only change the zeolite on these days.
- The carbon mixture should be changed every 14 days after the zeolite replacement.
